During a routine inspection
The dental surgery had been purpose built, which meant that there was access for people who had restricted mobility, and there were also good facilities, including a disabled toilet for patients' use. We found the practice to be well organised, clean and secure. We found the staff were professional, with a friendly and approachable manner, which was demonstrated in the way we saw staff talking with patients.
We spoke with one National Health Service (NHS) patient, and one private patient. Both patients said that they were very happy with their dental treatment. The NHS patient had been attending the dental practice for several years, and was very satisfied. The private patient was visiting the area and was being seen as an emergency patient. They told us that: 'This dentist is much better than my own dentist in London. In fact all of the staff are better, and the dentist explains things very well too.'
