During a routine inspection
People told us: 'The staff are kind here'. 'Staff treat us very well'. We saw that staff were kind and caring in their approach to people who lived in the home. We saw that staff were aware of each person's needs and how to give care and support to meet those needs. We found that information about people's needs had not been kept up to date or that plans were not in place to support staff to make sure they worked in a consistent way.
People accessed additional medical services as necessary to make sure their health and social welfare was protected at all times. We saw that the building was well kept and well decorated. People told us: 'The home is nicely decorated and well looked after'. 'I like living here, and I feel safe'.
Recruitment procedures had not always been followed to make sure that suitable people were employed to work at the home. Staff told us they: 'Love working here, everyone is great'.
In this report the names of registered managers appear who were not in post and not managing the regulatory activities at this location at the time of this inspection.
