During a routine inspection
People or their relatives told us that they were involved in the assessment and care planning process and the provider acted quickly to respond to any changes in their needs. They also told us that they received the care as detailed in their plan of care.
People said they were very satisfied with the quality of their care and support and with the staff team. One person told us 'They are wonderful and receiving care from them has been such a good experience'. We noted a recent comment from a relative who wrote 'The service has excelled our expectation. The staff are compassionate, caring, cheerful, friendly, patient and punctual'.
We looked at the medication systems and found that people were supported to receive their medicines safely and as prescribed.
We looked at the recruitment and selection processes and found them to be effective and saw that people were supported by staff who were caring, competent and well trained.
Systems were in place to monitor the quality of the service. Feed back was sought from people who used the service and staff and the provider was responsive when issues were raised.
