During a routine inspection
The people living at Holly House (Beechley) told us that they liked the staff who had supported them. They also told us that they had received the support they had needed with their personal and health care, their comments included, 'If you need help they are there' and 'The care is superb, they do the best job'.
People living at Holly House (Beechley) told us that they had not felt confident raising concerns or complaints as they had experienced breaches of their confidentiality. We found that no record of concerns or complaints was available and it was therefore not possible to ascertain whether these had been managed effectively.
We found little evidence that people had been consulted about their care and involved in their care planning. We also found that people did not feel fully informed of progress with the planned closure of the home.
Staff and the people living at Holly House (Beechley) told us that they did not think there had been sufficient staff available in the evening to provide support in a timely manner.
