During a routine inspection
Both people receiving care and all the relatives were happy with the care provided by individual carers. One told us, "Everything they do for me they do well, I can't think of anything they could do any better." However, all of them had experienced visits being carried out late and sometimes the staffing problems that caused this had impacted on people's health.
We informed the registered manager we had been told that visits were frequently late and this often seemed to be because they were scheduled without enough travelling time included. She told us that travelling times between visits had been checked and so shouldn't be a problem unless there were reduced staff due to sickness, but she was aware it could be a problem sometimes at weekends. She told us that she would look again at the scheduling of visits.
