During a routine inspection
We spoke with four patients and one relative to find out their opinions of the service. All patients and the relative with whom we spoke were complimentary about the service. One patient said, 'Everything was fine, really good. Everything was on time ' no waiting around.' Other comments included, 'You don't need to worry. You know what's going to happen. It's a comforting experience, it's calming' and 'The experience was really positive ' it was a joy!'
Patients and the relative were also complimentary about the staff themselves. One patient told us, 'Very nice ladies [staff] that I got on with.'
We concluded that before patients received any care or treatment they were asked for their consent and the provider acted in accordance with their wishes.
Care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure patients' safety and welfare.
Patients were protected from unsafe or unsuitable equipment because the provider had a planned maintenance programme in place.
There were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff to meet patients' needs.
Patients' records, staff and other records relevant to the management of the services were accurate and fit for purpose.
