At the time of our visit to this location we were able to speak with two people using the service, who both provided us with positive comments about the support they received. They told us they were always treated with respect and their privacy and dignity was continuously promoted. They said their needs were being met by a kind and caring staff team and they felt safe whilst treatment and support was being delivered.Comments received included:
"If I was unhappy about anything I would talk to Rebecca or Patrick. They are both great, but I am satisfied with everything."
"I am able to make some decisions, to a certain extent, but I realise the choices I'm given need to be beneficial for me and my disorder, otherwise I wouldn't eat at all. The staff are kind but firm, which I understand they need to be if I am going to get better."
"I feel I need this support and it has helped me so far. They (the staff) respect me as a person and don't talk down to me, even when I am struggling to keep to my treatment plan, which I want to do."
During our inspection we looked at how the provider involved people in planning their own care, treatment and support and how welfare was promoted. We also looked at outcome areas relating to staff training and processes for monitoring the quality of service provided. We found the service was compliant with all areas we looked at.
