During a routine inspection
We spoke with two people who used the service. They were pleased with the care and treatment that they had received. One said "The staff here are delightful" another said "The nurses are very good. They couldn't help me enough". People said that staff were courteous and helpful and that they felt safe in their care.
People felt well-informed and involved in their care and treatment. We saw that staff assessed the individual needs of people that used the service and devised a treatment plan that was safe and appropriate. There was a system in place to monitor the quality of care and treatment given. We saw evidence that comments and complaints were listened to and that further investigation took place if necessary. Information gained from audits was analysed and used to make any improvements indicated.
The premises were warm, light and well-ventilated. They were safe and well maintained. There were good recruitment processes in place to ensure that staff were properly qualified and experienced to carry out the necessary care and treatment.
