During a routine inspection
Most people told us that they were pleased with the treatment they had received at the service. One person said staff had supported them to undertake a 'home alcohol detox' and they had regular appointments with the doctor to ensure their wellbeing. They also told us they enjoyed taking part in group meetings and received support from people in a similar situation. They said 'the group work made a huge difference, and having people to be open with helped me a lot'.
We found that people gave consent for their treatment and received support that met their needs. We also found that there were procedures in place to protect people and staff from the risk of an infection. The registered manager had a complaints system and responded to complaints in a timely way. We found that the provider had recruitment system in place to ensure new staff were suitable to undertake their roles.
