During a routine inspection
We found that people were satisfied with the care and treatment provided by CRI and that their care plans were detailed and were regularly reviewed. However, people who required support for their mental health needs did not always supported in accordance with their needs.
We also found that arrangements were in place for the safe keeping of medication, but that record keeping required improvement and that the storage temperatures were not adequate.
We found that quality monitoring arrangements were in place to ensure the service was audited and that incidents were investigated. However, we found that incidents which should have been reported to the Care Quality Commission had not been. We discussed this with the manager who agreed to provide retrospective notifications.
