During a routine inspection
People who used the service were pleased with the quality of the care they received. They told us that they felt well supported by staff and through the groups that they attended. They said that they were always treated with respect. People who we spoke with said, "Being able to come here has helped me so much." "I like the community feel." "We're not judged here." "It's a safe environment".
People were treated with respect and were fully involved in planning their care and treatment.
People received care and support that was well planned and sensitively delivered. People were provided with a range of support services including group work, regular one to one sessions with their keyworkers and consultations with clinical staff who worked in the service.
There were systems in place to make sure that people were safeguarded from abuse. Where there were children involved the service worked in partnership with other agencies in planning for the child's safety.
People were supported by staff who had received appropriate training.
Effective quality assurance procedures ensured that people were provided with a good service.
Overall we found that this service was safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led and had achieved compliance with all the standards we inspected.
