During a routine inspection
We were shown information relating to safeguarding arrangements at the practice. There was some confusion relating to the information we were shown but this was later removed and the correct information located. Staff training relating to safeguarding training could not be located during our visit but was provided later that day via email.
Overall we found that the practice had good systems in place for ensuring cleanliness and hygiene was maintained although we found that some of the cupboard fronts that were labelled had become contaminated with "splashes" on the labelling. We also noted that the drawer trays were not as clean as they might be. Staff assured us this would be addressed following our visit. Quality monitoring checks and audits were in place, although some information was basic and needed to be reviewed to ensure continued compliance.
