During a routine inspection
Prior to visiting the service in Workington we had asked some of the people who work in the community about the work of the service. Local social workers and community nurses told us that there were no issues of concern with Cumbria Health on Call. They were very positive about the efficiency and promptness of the service.
We saw that the provider had an effective system in place to identify, assess and manage risks to the health, safety and welfare of people who use the service and others.
