During a routine inspection
People who used the service told us that staff treated them with respect and maintained their dignity. Staff who we asked told us this was a clear expectation and core value of the service.
People had their care needs assessed and periodically reviewed. Care support workers and people using the service confirmed they were involved in discussions about the best way of meeting assessed needs.
People who used the service told us they felt safe with the care support workers who visited them. They described the care support workers as "friendly" and "[they are] just good".
Staff were appropriately vetted to help minimise the risk of exposing people who used the service to unsuitable workers.
The quality of the service was regularly monitored to help ensure people were receiving an appropriate standard of care and support.
