Responsive
People were in control of their lives and valued as individuals by the staff team. The provider encouraged and acted upon feedback from people, relatives, staff and health and social care professionals.

Equity in experiences and outcomes
People were supported to regularly go out including taking part in local community inclusive groups. Relatives comments included; “They are supported to do lots of activities and new things are being introduced”, “[Name] does all sorts of activities, there is plenty to keep them occupied.” And “Staff take [Name] out regularly, they are very happy doing that. Can be difficult. Staff need to pick up on signs and triggers.”
When people were outside of the service staff considered what support they might require to ensure they were able to have a good experience and overcome any potential barriers.
Some information had been developed using simple text and supporting pictures so it was accessible to people and supported their understanding.
