There were effective communication systems in place for the sharing of relevant information between agencies who were contributing in meeting people's health and social care needs.
People were supported when taking their prescribed medication for the treatment of their alcohol dependency. People knew of the reasons why their medication was prescribed and were satisfied with the support they received when taking it.
There was a sufficient number of skilled and trained staff to provide people who used the service with a continuity of therapeutic support and treatment.
Quality assurance (QA) systems were in place which enabled people to informally share their views about the service. Other QA systems were in place to protect people from inappropriate support and treatment.
