During a routine inspection
The service had clearly defined objectives to achieve and was well-led with clear policies and procedures. A staff member told us about their positive supervision sessions to support them in their work and further develop their skills. The service emphasised to staff the importance of gaining and recording that the person had given consent to accept support and work with the service.
We saw the service had provided safeguarding training and had a safeguarding policy in place. The service was also visited regularly by senior staff within the organisation to support staff and ensure that the service was monitored regarding quality and achieving targets.
The service was responsive to people's immediate need as well as planning long-term goals with people. There was a drop in service where people could speak with staff should they have experienced unexpected problems.
