During a routine inspection
Patients told us they were happy with the care they received from the regular staff. One patient told us 'I always get the time I need.' Another said 'They completely understand, and take the time of listen to what I have to say.' This patient went on to say 'They then explain and discuss the options, I feel involved.' Another patient told us 'The GP always listens and will refer you on if you come back with the same condition.'
Patients told us they could usually get an appointment when they needed one, and appointments were available within a couple of days. One patient told us they had been offered an appointment the same day.
We saw that the practice was clean and tidy, and systems were in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection.
We looked at staff recruitment and saw that appropriate checks were undertaken before staff began work.
The registered provider had systems in place for monitoring the quality of service provision. There was a system for obtaining patients views about the standards of the services they received. This meant that on-going improvements could be made by the practice staff.
