During a routine inspection
People were involved in assessing, planning and reviewing their care and support. We saw people had a support plan in place in addition to a timetable that detailed how people liked to spend their time and how staff needed to support them. Staff and managers demonstrated a good knowledge of the needs of the people whose care and support we looked at in detail.
We saw that staff received appropriate training to enable them to carry out their job roles effectively and safely. Staff told us they felt well supported in their work and found managers very approachable. Comments included, 'Managers very much listen to us and are available 24/7, they are always there for you, they're fantastic'. And, 'They are the nicest people you would ever want to work with. They always put the client's first'.
We found the provider had systems in place to assess and monitor the quality of the service that people received. The registered manager acknowledged this was an area for improvement.
