During an inspection in response to concerns
We saw that the service had safeguarding policies for young people and vulnerable adults which were accessible to all staff. Staff had received safeguarding training. The provider held checks with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for all staff. This meant that the provider took reasonable steps to ensure that only people who were suitable to work with vulnerable adults were employed.
We also saw that the service had a complaints policy. People were told about the policy and were given assistance to raise concerns and complaints. This demonstrated that provider had assisted people to make their views known to the service.
