During a routine inspection
People we spoke with during our inspection were satisfied with the care and support they received. Over recent months reliability of the service had improved and people told us that staff usually arrived on time and they usually had regular care staff to provide the support they needed. Written information about people's care and support needs lacked detail which meant that there could be a risk that people received inappropriate or unsafe care.
Arrangements for recording the of administration of medicines were unreliable which meant that there was a risk people may not receive their prescribed medication when they should.
There were mechanisms in place to support and supervise staff. Staff we spoke with felt they were well supported by senior staff and colleagues.
The provider had arrangements in place to monitor the quality of the service and to capture the views of people using the service.
People using the service were provided with information about the comments and complaints system. When any issues were raised these were responded to appropriately and following the complaints system framework.
