During a routine inspection
One person who used the service said "I wouldn't be here without the help of the service; the staff are spot on, very supportive."
We spoke to a person who had used the services previously they told us "I was supported and encouraged to become a peer mentor; I have had loads of training."
We reviewed eight care files, these were well organised and showed a person centred approach. The service helped the people who used the service make their own assessment of their life, to set goals, map their emotions and be involved in a recovery plan which identified the individual person's needs.
We found that the service had robust quality audit and monitoring systems in place to support the care delivery. The staff told us about their "flash meeting". This took place every day to update all staff on set agenda items which included duty cover; nurse appointments; home visits; safeguarding; new risks; volunteer staff in service on that day; sickness or absences; annual leave, and any other business.
