Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
1. Within 7 days of this condition taking effect, the registered provider must undertake audits of the following areas:
a) Service user access to the local community and opportunities that meet their preferences.
b) Guidance available detailing service user’s goals and aspirations.
c) Strategies available to increase service user’s skills and independence.
d) Systems to involve service users and their advocates or relatives in reviewing the support they receive.
e) Staff training; including the training of agency staff.
f) Systems to ensure there are enough staff available each day with the skills to keep service users safe.
g) Information available about service users’ health needs, related risks and where this information is recorded.
h) Medicines management.
i) Resources available to the service to make the improvements required.
2. Following the above audits, the registered provider must create an action plan which details what action the provider is going to take in relation to the above areas. The action plan must be sent to the CQC within 21 days of this condition taking effect.
3. On the second Monday of each month after the condition has taken effect, the registered provider must send to the CQC, a report which must detail progress on the action plan this must include confirmation of action which has been taken in the previous month.
4. On the second Monday of each month after the condition has taken effect, the registered provider must send to the CQC, a report which must detail the opportunities and activities offered to and accepted by service users during the previous month, and also the up to date staff training matrix and the staff rota for the previous month.
Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The registered provider must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care at Acorn Park Lodge.
The registered provider must only accommodate a maximum of 9 service users at Acorn Park Lodge.
