During a routine inspection
Relationships between people and staff were clearly good. People told us staff treated them with respect and helped them to remain as independent as possible. We saw people were involved in planning their own care and support. Their comments included, 'I clean my own room.'
People were positive about the care and support they received. Comments included, 'It's alright' and 'I moved in (last year) and it's ok'. We found care and support was planned and delivered in line with people's individual care plans.
We found people were confident about raising any concerns and knew something would be done. They told us, 'I feel safe here.'
The staff team were supported to deliver care and treatment safely and to an appropriate standard. They had received appropriate professional development and were able, from time to time, to obtain further relevant qualifications.
We found the provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service people received, which meant the service evolved and improved.
