Our view of the service

Elle Jay Aesthetics is a nurse-led aesthetic skincare clinic service providing cosmetic and medical treatments to people. Patients pay privately for their care and treatment at this service as no NHS funded treatments are provided. Services are provided from a self-contained shop based in Stourport upon Severn. Aesthetic procedures such as anti-wrinkle injections are not regulated by CQC where they are not used to treat a diagnosed condition. Therefore, on this assessment we only reviewed information where these procedures were used to treat a specific diagnosed medical condition. These are treatment for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) and migraine, thread lifts, minor surgery for removal of skin tags, IV infusions, Vitamin B12 injections and blood sampling. The owner of the service is the registered manager. They are an independent nurse prescriber and sole medical clinician at the service. Other staff provide cosmetic treatments. Elle Jay Aesthetics was registered with CQC in April 2023. This is their first assessment since they registered, and they have no previous rating. We carried out an announced assessment of all quality statements for safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led during our assessment
