The provider promoted people’s independence so people knew their rights and had choice and control over their own care, treatment and wellbeing. Care plans we reviewed were person-centred and indicated how people liked to be supported.
People told us their experiences of care, “Some staff were talking down to me so I told them and they said they didn’t realise and they got it and now it is perfect.” Another person said, “There is enough staff and they come straight away when I call for them. They respect my privacy and dignity and they knock before they come into my room. They will sit and chat with you and if you want to ask any questions they will answer for you. Relatives told us, “The staff are kind very caring and have good manners. The staff treat [family member] with respect and dignity. They understand their needs.”
