Our view of the service
Priceless care is a domiciliary care service providing personal care to people living in their homes. CQC only inspects where people receive a regulated activity of personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. During this assessment 14 people were receiving support with personal care. The service supports people with a variety of care needs including those living with dementia and people with physical disabilities. The assessment was prompted by a review of information we held about the service.
People's experience of this service
People received support from the service and told us they felt safe. People spoke positively about the staff who supported them. People told us they received their scheduled care calls consistently and mainly from the same staff. There were policies and procedures in place to ensure people were supported safely. People and their relatives knew how to make a complaint about the service and any concerns were looked into by the registered manager. Concerns were also escalated to the relevant body when required for example district nursing team if concerns had been identified. People said they had their care reviewed to insure that any change needed was completed.
