Well-led
The provider’s management team had clear responsibilities and roles and operated clear systems of accountability and good governance. The provider used these to manage and deliver good quality, sustainable care and support for people who used the service.

Governance, management and sustainability
The registered manager said they felt fully supported by the provider. The staff said the registered manager had an open door policy and was available to speak to or ask for support if required. Staff told us Primecare was a good company to work for and the provider listened to their requests. For example, when possible, things were bought or replaced if needed. The provider had clear processes to monitor and quality assure the outcomes of people using the service. People's views were taken into account in the planning and delivery of care. The registered manager and her team were skilled and knowledgeable.
The registered manager was supported by a deputy manager and a regional manager. The regional manager visited at least weekly and was available to support if needed. The provider operated clear and effective governance, management and accountability arrangements to support the provision of safe and effective care. Notifications were consistently submitted to external organisations in a timely manner as required. Staff and management understood their role and responsibilities and how their approach impacts people using the service. Management can account for the actions, behaviours and performance of staff.
