Responsive
The key question of Responsive was rated Good at our last inspection and continues to be rated Good following this assessment. We found people were receiving support following Right Support, Right Care, Right Culture guidance. People were supported to take part in activities and be part of the community, as much as possible.

Equity in experiences and outcomes
Staff were aware of the potential discrimination people may face in the community and healthcare. Staff understood their role to promote people's rights and choices to make sure they have the same access as others.
People liked to go out and be part of the community. During our visit one person went out for an appointment had had their favourite meal for lunch whilst they were out. Another person when out for a bus ride, while other people went out for lunch or a walk. Staff offered people advice regarding health choices. One person now chose decaffeinated drinks and lower sugar options which had improved their health.
People's support plans included information about people's spiritual and cultural needs and how staff should support people to meet these. People were supported to develop relationships and express their gender in ways they wished. Support plans had developed people's goals and aims as well as the skills people had.
