Governance, management and sustainability

Score: 3

We spoke with the registered manager about the improvements made since the concerns were raised by a local authority visit earlier in 2024 and the actions required to rectify the issues found. The provider drew up an action plan to ensure each element of concern was rectified. We reviewed the quality audit and the actions taken. All issues had either been addressed or there were plans in place to do so. This reflected the provider’ commitment to continual improvement and taking action when shortfalls were identified. Concerns in relation to infection control issues and the safety of the environment had been rectified.

There was a programme of audit and checks in place in order to identify areas for improvement. Action plans were in place to provide a framework and timescales for improvements to be made. This included listening to feedback from people and their families and creating an action plan based on survey feedback.
