Effective - we looked at 1 quality statement. This means we looked for evidence that people’s care and treatment was effective by assessing and reviewing their health, care, wellbeing and communication needs with them. At our last inspection we rated this key question good. At this assessment we did not assess all quality statements within this key question. The overall rating for this key question remains good based on the findings at the last inspection. This meant people’s outcomes were consistently good, and people’s feedback confirmed this.

Assessing needs
The service made sure people’s care and treatment was effective by assessing and reviewing their health, care, wellbeing and communication needs with them. People contributed to their care plans and their views were documented. Where this was not possible, or people were not involved, a clear rationale of why was documented. Care plans viewed were very personalised and included, risks, health, care, wellbeing, and communication needs, to ensure people received care and support which had good outcomes.
