Staff and leaders actively listened to information about people who are most likely to experience inequality in experience or outcomes and tailored their care, support and treatment in response to this. People’s protected characteristics were documented in their care plans. People told us they were offered to attend cultural events if they chose to and were supported with different forms of technology to maintain contact with relatives. The provider understood their responsibilities around ensuring equity in people's experience and outcomes. Staff had completed diversity, equity and inclusion training and shared good knowledge of people’s diversity needs.
